The 21-year-old has been with the club for two years since joining from Leeds United, making 41 appearances in all competitions for the Cherries.  He made 29 Premier League appearances (25 starts) this past season, recording two assists.

Cook make his senior international debut for England versus Italy back in March and is one of five players on standby for Gareth Southgate’s World Cup squad for this summer.

The versatile midfielder told the club’s official website:

“This new contract is a really proud moment for me.

“It’s the icing on the cake for the year we’ve had and all the hard work that’s gone on behind the scenes at the club.”
