Confirmed lineups: Watford vs Chelsea

Chelsea will be looking to move into sole third place and extend their lead over Arsenal below them when they travel to Vicarage Road in today’s evening Premier League kickoff.

Hosts Watford are propping up the table without a single victory all season, drawing five and losing five to start the 2019-20 season.

Frank Lampard’s side are looking for a fifth consecutive away Premier League victory, having scored an incredible 16 goals in their four previous wins.

The two lineups for this evening’s game are confirmed as:

Watford

Ben Foster; Daryl Janmaat, Christian Kabasele, Craig Dawson, Craig Cathcart, Adam Masina; Gerard Deulofeu, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Nathaniel Chalobah, Roberto Pereyra; Andre Gray

Substitutes: Gomes, Adrian Mariappa, Jose Holebas, Dimitri Foulquier, Kiko Femenia, Will Hughes, Isaac Success

Quique Sanchez Flores has named a back five and four defenders on the bench.

Andre Gray will be the lone striker for the hosts, who will be looking for Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra looking to supply him from the wings.

Chelsea

Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cesar Azpilicueta, Kurt Zouma, Fikayo Tomori, Emerson; Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount; Willian, Tammy Abraham, Christian Pulisic

Substitutes: Willy Caballero, Marcos Alonso, Reece James, Billy Gilmour, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Michy Batshuayi, Olivier Giroud

Emerson returns at left-back for Chelsea after a few weeks out with injury. Otherwise, there are no surprises named by Frank Lampard, who sticks with Tammy Abraham up front.

Christian Pulisic gets another start down the left wing having netted a hat-trick in the 4-2 win at Burnley last weekend.
